random entry?

<~10:04 pm on Monday, Mar. 17, 2003~>

Top o the evenin to ya~

Well I am sitting here much overdue for an entry. Seems like i was on a minihiatus almost. Dang thats not too good.

I am glad finally something is happening in the world against Saddam Hussein. I actually got to see the presidents speech tonight unlike last time. No stupid academic convocation to inhibit my view of world politics, no siree. Anywho i guess i dont have much to rant about because I agree with Bush's military choices in many aspects and most of what he is doing against terrorism. Not all, mind you, but I cant stand those stupid peace protests and condemnations of his tactics.

I do find that terror scale absolute hilarious tho. Or just plain irritating, depending on the music playing at the moment. Half the nation is panicking and buying duct tape and canned goods and losing any sense they had. Its really weird actually, I can't seem to get into their mindset. I really don't think we're getting bombed and the only ppl profiting from the whole mass panic are the grocery stores. Heck, if i owned one of them I'd be paying off the news broadcasters to tell the public to buy my canned corn and whatnot. Lord knows the average american couch potato would listen to anyone with a bad toupee and a spot in front of a blue screen.

And that whole color alert scale is so messed up. I love talking to with my cousin about this whole thingum, he shares many of the views with me. Describing the terror alert system, the colors are, "beige, taupe, off white, tan"

How perfectly described.

Anywho the rest of this weekend was fun and we had off today, yay!! On friday we ran to Rita's for track and wrote a "threatening note" to Pardini. Can't say more, don't know what eyes lurk here... will write it all out once it has been received...

There was a bit of crew afterwards but i missed most of it except for having a catch across the auditorium with Chrissy while Rufo and Sean sang random songs into the microphone.

Friday night the four of us ended up going over to Rufo's where we 'watched' Braveheart. Either way its a good movie... feel like renting it now, Ah he he! (sorry that was a Joanna laugh, I take no responsibility for any mental illnesses derived from that, personal items damaged, or sanity lost from the laughter. )

Saturday at crew is kinda fuzzy now... I probably fell into a time portal today or something. That would explain it. I did finish hammering a hole through a nickel. Took two weeks but now i have a nickel on a necklace, illegal tho i think it is. Hehehe, still looks cool. I love doing random pointless things like that at crew, its one of the few good things abotu having no real job or responsibilities watsoever.

Agg I am prematurely being kicked off to do stupid homework. Gnite nildenya~

What they were looking at was a swirling of the computer screen, similar to a black hole, and a hand reaching out to grab a hold of them. There was a very eerie whirring sound in the background as they struggled to get away from the creepy hand of doom. The creepy hand of doom was pikn with *gasp and disgust. The computer screen grew dull and grey. Twitching in fear they backed away, only to find themselves transfixed, inable to move. Slowly the impending doom slid* SILVER NAILPOLISH!! Anyone who beheld such a hand perished in the agony of bewilderment e out of the shadows, into the murky pixelated depths. Sparkle by sparkle, their hearts grew fainter and hope slowly slinked away
